I will be honest and say that the first thing that drew me to The Hunter: Call of the Wild was the visuals. However, I would assume that even with the impressive arsenal on offer, you will probably find something that you like and stick with that. The progression in the game, like everything else in the game, is very slow. My favorite is the bow as it is quiet and it makes you feel like a real primal hunter even though you are using a really cool high-tech kind of bow. You start the game with a very basic rifle, but you eventually earn much cooler weapons. The stats though as I played showed that I scared off hundreds of animals and only managed to track around 50! Each hunt can take anywhere from an hour to two and there is no pausing! This means that you cannot just jump in for a quick session. I found that The Hunter: Call of the Wild was pretty exciting once you did manage to track down an animal. You start by finding some tracks or some animal scat and then you need you slowly and methodically stalk your prey and shoot it.Īs you progress through the game, you will get stuff like calling whistles and animal lures that can help you on your hunting journey. Everything you do in this game has to be slow. If you want a game where you can just run around in the woods and shoot animals, this game is not for you. If you are a true hunting lover, you’ll definitely enjoy playing at least one of these fantastic hunting simulations. To say that this is a slow-paced game is a massive understatement. Plus, there are day/night cycles, different weather environments, and various missions. So, what’s so great about the game? First of all, there are complex animal behaviors that are realistic. You can either play it with a team (up to eight friends) or solo. The open world of theHunter is super attractive because it offers the most immersive hunting experience. Also, the game is much easier than the previous version. You can choose between different maps, such as jungles, forests, or beaches, where you can choose different weapons. Yes, we’re talking about dinosaurs! This is a pretty authentic hunting simulation since you need to be super careful in order to survive. Go back in time, and enjoy the oldest beasts our world has known.

Why? Because they can see, hear, and even smell you! So, the point is to stay calm and tiptoe while exploring green forests. In this game, you have to be very careful while approaching animals, usually birds and predators.

Although the graphic is a bit outdated, The Hunt still provides you with a real hunting experience that every true huter enjoys. When it comes to gear and weapons, you can choose authentic stuff to shoot over 20 different species. This game is hot! You can hunt in ten of North America’s regions with a wide variety of maps. So, it was a tough job to choose only five of them, but we still believe the following games are the best you can try. There have been so many different games in the last 20 years which were exciting to play. We love hunting simulations, and we know many people within our community who like it as well.
